The Singapore Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) have arrested Singapore first cord blood bank Cordlife Group ex-CEO & 4 directors for potential disclosure breach, which was reported in November 2023 of storage for cord blood cells were not maintained at the right temperature. The 5 arrested are ex-CEO Tan Poh Lan, and 4 directors, Dr Ho Choon Hou, Yeo Hwee Tiong, Cheong Tuck Yan Titus Jim & Chow Wai Leong. Cordlife Group CFO Thet Hin Yi assisted with the investigations. 4 other directors who are not based in Singapore had been told to report for interviews (Joseph Wong Wai Leung, Zhai Lingyun, Chen Xiaoling & Yiu Ming Yiu).
