Morgan Stanley, one of the world’s leading global financial services firm in investment banking, securities, wealth management & investment management, has appointed David Aronovitch as Morgan Stanley CEO of Southeast Asia, and Ronald Ong as Morgan Stanley Chairman of Southeast Asia. Ronald Ong had joined Morgan Stanley in 1995, and was appointed to lead Morgan Stanley bank in Southeast Asia in 2004. David Aronovitch had started as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in 1998, appointed as Head of Asia-Pacific Consumer Retail investment banking in 2009, and appointed as Global Co-Head in 2018. David Aronovitch will continue to maintain sector client coverage responsibilities as Morgan Stanley Vice Chairman of the Consumer Retail Group alongside his new role as CEO of Southeast Asia.

Morgan Stanley Headquarters Time Square Broadway Gokul Laroia is the CEO of Asia Pacific for Morgan Stanley, Co-Head of Global Equities and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Over a career at Morgan Stanley spanning more than 20 years, Laroia has held a number of leadership positions across the region, heading up the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Investment Banking divisions before assuming his current role in 2014.
