Goldman Sachs has promoted 80 individuals as Goldman Sachs Partners in 2023 with 53 from Americas, 21 from EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and 6 individuals from Asia-Pacific – Rob Taylor (Hong Kong), Isaac Wong (Hong Kong), Stuart Wrigley (Singapore), Faisal Shamsee (Singapore), Sivasubramanian (Balaji, Bengaluru) and Zac Fletcher (Sydney).  Every 2 years, Goldman Sachs names new partners with 80 in 2022, 60 in 2020, 69 in 2018 and 84 in 2016.  For the class of 2022 partners promoted, on average, they had been at Goldman Sachs for 16 years.  Goldman Sachs new partners earn around $1 million per year in base salary, receives incentives, and additional bonus from a bonus pool reserved for Goldman Sachs partners.  Managing Directors in Goldman Sachs are paid $400k to $600k in base salary.  In total, Goldman Sachs has around 400 to 500 partners, with around 43,000 employees (1:100 partner to employee ratio).  In 2021, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon receives a total compensation of $35 million while JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon receives $34.5 million.  See the full name list of Goldman Sachs Class of 2022 Partners below.
