The former Chairman of China state-owned enterprise Jilin Province Trust Tai Ge had been sentenced to 14 years jail & fined $420,000 (CNY 3 million) for bribery & corruption (22/5/23), receiving $9.8 million (CNY 69 million) in bribes, embezzling $283,000 (CNY 3 million) and causing state losses of $4.9 million (CNY 35 million). Between 2010 to 2019, Tai Ge was the Vice President of Bank of Jilin and Chairman & General Manager of Jilin Province Trust, and had used his positions to help companies & individuals in their loan applications.

By the end of 2020, there were 9,689 bank clerks at the company, which has 11 branches and 384 operational sites in Jilin. The company also established 10 rural banks and one loan firm, and holds shares in FAW Auto Finance Co.
